holiday turkey pre-order

A pre-order flow that tells guests when they can pick up before they commit, built over two holiday seasons.

the two-minute version

the problem

Guests needed to know when they could pick up a holiday turkey before they committed.

what i did

2025: a dated pickup window and a shorter tracker. 2026: capacity states, availability gates and a calendar day picker.

the result

The order tracker went from 4 steps to 3, and checkout now respects each restaurant’s daily capacity.

the process

  1. 2025: a date, and a clear message

My team added a dated pickup window and a clear “sold frozen, reheat” message, and the order tracker went from 4 steps to 3.

the solution

  1. 2026: availability up front

I designed daily-capacity states, availability gates and a calendar day picker, so guests see pickup availability before they commit.
